Outrage is a good thing. It means you still care. For my daily outrage, stop by when you can.

Kindred Spirit
"I thrive on outrage. I'm no good without it," so says Mercury News columnist Patty Fisher in her latest column. Someone I can relate to.

You Say Spend, I Say Stimulate
Here's my problem with the stimulus bill: if the bulk of the money will need to be administered by local municipalities, who's watching what they're doing? Having worked in local government, the majority of people I met were hardworking and honest public servants. But it only takes a few to skim off the top. And the opportunities are endless. I just want to know who's responsible. Will call if I have to. Don't think I won't.
Update 02/18/09: Is it possible President Obama reads Outrage? He sent me an email (I know, I know. I just like saying that...) expressing his concern for accountability.
"I've assigned a team of managers to oversee the implementation of the recovery act. We are committed to making sure no dollar is wasted. But accountability begins with you. That's why my administration has created Recovery.gov, a new website where citizens can track every dollar spent and every job created. We'll invite you and your neighbors to weigh in with comments and questions." Stay tuned.

Facebook: Face the facts
Well, if the TOS changes don't upset you, here's proof that Facebook is for Old Fogies. (thanks for the link JB)
Update 02/18/09: Facebook is listening to the people who use your site. How refreshing.

Crappy Weekend
Was sick as a dog last Friday - made for an uneventful and very quiet weekend. Of which I am grateful. Fifth Valentine's Day without Kevin - no easier than the first.

Bruce
The outrage meter is off the charts on this one. Springsteen tickets went on sale yesterday morning. The plan was for me to get tickets for the May 23 show at the Izod Center. Clink (the true Bruce fan among us) was trying to. Everyone I know was shut out - I was lucky because even though it failed to go through, I got an order number. Will keep you posted
